Hi. Im Princess Alcasid. A registered nurse in the Philippines. I just migrated here in Melbourne last July 2012. Is it possible for me to take Diploma in Nursing? I want to enhance my nursing skills and knowledege according with the Australian nursing criteria. I want to update my nursing expertise as well. Im bit confused now. 

Please I need your help guys. Thanks so much with your kindness in Advance ;)

Hi princess,

I'm also from the Philippines RN and just enrolled a Bachelor of Nursing this year at the Uni for 3 yrs study. You can apply for bridging program for overseas nurse and don't worry about the Diploma of Nursing. I chose not to do bridging program because of family reason and I'm not from melbourne and it's too far for me to travel because i live in the country side of victoria. If you're planning to do bridging program makes sure you do your IELTS first and you can contact the http://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au/ for more info.I hope it helps.
