Thankyou Darren for this site,

excellent!! wonderful!! having something Australian to come to is so fantastic and very much appreciated. I wish I had found you much sooner.

I had quite a bit of trouble trying to validate my account as the link from the email wouldn't work at all. after I cut and pasted the link address it said..... sorry the key submitted was an invalid key..account not activated. eventually I just typed my name in the log in and it seemed to work for some reason. I wonder if there are many other people who have given up when this has happened to them, figuring that they just couldn't make it work for them.

You have made us really excellent site. I will post the address up at work for others to have a look too.I was thinking that it would also be good to contact some of the nursing schools and let them know that we now have an Australian nursing forum. The local University (CQU) has a nursing site called blackboard that they exchange information through and I will ask my daughter who is in her third year of nursing to post your address up there.

thanks again

Thanks for your feedback Shelana,

new members are signing up each day and we do seem to be gaining a bit of momentum. Sorry you had difficulty with the link, it must have worked for you to login but we will continue to monitor if others also have trouble.

Thank you for promoting NurseCentral with your colleagues - universities are a good source too. Marketing is always a resource issue, but we are getting there slowly. There is a link on the front page to a flyer that can be printed out and displayed so we always appreciate that going out.

Hey

This site is like wicked. From the time I have spent in here, and the imput in the forums, it is GREAT to get a understanding of the roles and duties for nursing staff across the country. Everyone shares ideas, and we learn from each other.

I like to dribble, and have a say in everythink, and follow a few forums, but this would be the only one that if I have a opition then I like to share it with everyone :P

Darren : Just for my own piece of mind, but also to get a idea, any chance of a poll or stats if possible, to indicate the number of RN's EN's and other nursing staff onsite as numbers, and also the States?

Have a good one, time for bed, got a early in the morning

Hi everyone,

Firstly, I'd like to say that I'm thrilled to be a part of NurseCentral and to see that we're already getting some new members! In terms of my first impressions of the site, I have to say that I'm really impressed with the community feel and the wealth of resources that are available to members. The site is well-organized and easy to navigate, which makes it a pleasure to use.

In terms of how I found NurseCentral, I actually stumbled upon it while researching ways to improve my networking efforts as a nurse. That's actually what led me to discover Liprospect, which is a powerful LinkedIn automation tool that I think could be really beneficial for other members here as well.

Liprospect allows you to automate your outreach on LinkedIn, which can save you a lot of time and effort while still allowing you to connect with the right people and grow your network. With features like advanced search filters, personalized message templates, and campaign analytics, it's a great way to fine-tune your outreach strategy and get better results.

Overall, I think that NurseCentral has a lot of potential to be a really valuable resource for nurses and other healthcare professionals. And with tools like Liprospect available to members, there's no limit to what we can achieve together!
