Dont seem to get many replies on this forum but wondering if anybody knows if you study at uni sa can you do clinicals in your own state i am in nsw I think you can do clinicals in your own state at CDU, any info appreciated

Hey,i have just applied to do bach nurse @ uniSA, i think you do clinicals over there from what i can gather, yoou do exams in your state though. I'm in Vic, would love to keep in touch about this course with you, feel a little "confused" about it all. Cheers

Thanks for the reply. I have applied for CDU and SA. I put CDU first as I think I can get more credit there. Having done En course and previous studies at CDU . I wouldnt be able to do clinicals in SA as i am in NSW and have work family etc. I did think it was just some residentials you did there. But i could be wrong. At CDU you can arrange your cilnical placements in your area. Cheers L

Lakshmi, both unisa & cdu state that they will try their best to get their students placement in their home state but that it is a condition of enrollment to accept this may not always be possible. I think they mainly say this to cover themselves, I've really only heard of one student in Vic who had trouble with unisa.

As you know, both cdu & unisa require some interstate travel for workshops, i think unisa has more of these than CDU.
