Hi all,

Im starting the diploma of nursing on the 17th June at TAFE in NSW. I was just wondering if anyone on this forum can give me an idea of what text books are being used for enrolled nursing at TAFE. We have been told by the TAFE that text books will be $390 and the resources fees will be $470......not sure how I'm going to find that sort of money on day 1 but it will have to be done. If I can buy 2nd hand books that would be GREAT!! So if any body can tell me which books are being used and where I might buy them 2nd hand that would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Ask the tafe for an up to date text book list.I saved heaps finding my own text books.Gumtree,ebay,and student book exchange.just be careful of people not selling the right book,or not sending the book.If you can find local ones you can save on postage. What is the $470 for?

I'd wait until you've started school until you buy books. I went and bought some very expensive textbooks and to be honest I haven't even Used them. But am keeping them for future reference. You can borrow from the library or if you want to buy I recommend fishpond.com.au or coop.com.au, they are the cheapest new.

Hi I am  only new so I don't know what I am doing on here yet :-),

I will be doing the EEN course at the end of the year and I was hoping to find out first hand what the test is like and what you guys did to pass etc...
