Hello People!

I've decided to become a nurse! I'm 27 and have denied my underlying instincts for too long! Now its time... the problem is... I cannot make head nor tail of all this internet information!
I am from Ireland and am on the brink of becoming a resident to this beautiful nation! I have emailed a few Nursing departments but when they here I am not a resident they dismiss my questions and tell me to come back to them when i get accepted???

I'm not even sure what to ask to tell you the truth....
I just want the quickest way to become a nurse?
Why do people do enrolled endorsed nursing?
I want to do midwifery- cant i do that straight up or do I need other experience?
I have a dip in quality management- and will be applying as mature student- will my dip help me skip a few yrs? (some chance ha!)

Just if anybody can break it down for me!? I 'm not stupid and cant wait to get stuck in to work and assignments again!

I'm waiting on my residency- which will be 3-6 mths! Will i miss the deadline? Can I apply and start semester 1 in june/july?

Just think of me as a child who has never seen ur curriculum and needs a guiding hand!

I only get an hr a day on the library internet and cant get enough research done- i am broke until I pay for this residency so I need you all!

Hopefully I'll get accepted into a uni of TAFE in Brisbane metro area- any good advice on which ones are best? I have a beautiful little rugrat who i hate been away from and viseversa so do any of the uni's have creche's or daycare?
What is the Centrelink help like?

Iknow i'm asking alot of questions but any hepl will do!

Thank you all
x
