Hi all, I'm new to the site and new to Nursing. Just completed my Endorsed Enrolled Nurse course and finishing up on Prac. I've been accepted in the Grad prog at my hospital as well, so I'm looking forward to any pointers, info, experience to share and be shared and above all the gaining of knowledge, wisdom and to have a bit of "let your hair down" fun :)

Hello and welcome :-)

Congrats on finishing off your course and being a fully qualified nurse! Well done. Look forward to seeing you round here on the site and hearing about your experiences in the grad program too.

Thank you so much for the welcome.

I'll be adding my 2 cents or 5 don't you worry about the Grad prog. I've been working at the hospital as a PCA whilst doing my Diploma for the past 18mths so I'm use to hearing all sorts of stories from the other nurses on my ward who have done or are doing the Grad Prog. From what I hear, it's little more than an accreditation you can use, because the support isn't what it's cracked up to be.

I will however let you know my thoughts, once I start. Whether they be good or bad, they WILL be honest :)

Oh really!! Thats interesting and a real shame isnt it. I have a few friends applying for grad programs so I hope they have a better experience. I hope your is not unsupportive and I hope you do get alot out of it. I look forward to hearing about it though and hope it provides you with some wonderful opportunities.
