MelM (offline) Joined: Mar 2011 Location: Posts: 2	Thu Jan 12, 2012 12:01 pm We are currently living in Darwin and I am studying to be an EEN online. I can't find a hospital in Adelaide that offers a graduate year for EEN's! This is a huge concern to me, how do get work in hospitals if you don't have a grad year? If we make the move would I better to continue studying to get my RN? Can any one from the aread advise me what to do.

DaniJ (offline) Joined: Jan 2012 Location: Posts: 3	Jan 12, 2012, 04:57 pm Hello! I completed my diploma last year, and start work on Monday as an EN in a childrens hospital. There is a grad year for RN's here but not EN's. I am lucky that I did well enough in my 6 week placement to have been successful in gaining employment with the venue. Alot of people I studied with are finding it a little hard. Having said that, there are jobs out there. I was offered work through 2 different hospitals, and a large GP clinic. Good luck with it! I am going to go on to study for my RN next year, but there is work for EN's in hospitals. You just need a good resume to get you noticed.
