Hi there

i haven't yet started but I am planning to do diploma in nursing soon. I am in geelong so will be going through gordon tafe or health care training Aus Depending on the right hours.

First question does the diploma of nursing make you an EEN Not just an EN? As I've noticed all the courses have the administering of medication unit now? Is that right??

also who here is study with a full on clingy toddler? I will have to study part time and she's not not ready to Let me yet but I want to know it possible?? And I'm waiting to see how I can find my study too as im eligable for gov funding but not for vet fee etx as I'm a kiwi, so I have to pay fees up front.

Thanks!

If you go through TAFE you can see if you can pay through Fees By Installment.

I am now completing my Endorsement/ Medication ( EEN) diploma at Australian College of Nursing. As i understand it now, all Enrolled nurses will have Medication endorsement and will then be known as Enrolled Nurses ( not EENs) when they graduate.

Old Enrolled nurses like myself have been made to do the Medication/diploma update to have the "notation" taken off our registration that we don't have medication qualifications. This will bring us up to date with current enrolled nurses who are graduating.

There will not be any EENs. we will all be called Enrolled nurses.
