Hi NurseCentral members!
I have discovered a passion for nursing after visiting my mother at work and seeing her 'in action'. I would very much like to pursue a career as an EN or eventually an EEN at a hospital but the thing is I don't have my HSC.
So, if I were to do the Access to Nursing course at TAFE would I be eligable for enterance into the Diploma of Enrolled/Div. 2 Nursing? I ask this because (and this may sound cheesy) I want to find the quickest way into nursing because my interest in it is so strong that I can't wait and something inside me just stirs up when I begin to think about it. I know that nursing isn't an easy job and that sometimes it isn't pretty but for so long I haven't known completely what I want to do but I know now that this is it.
Thank you
:)

You can apply as a mature age. You don.t need HSC these days..
