I have been accepted in the following courses for next year, Kangan, Holmesglen, Careers Australia and Health skills Australia. I am undecided which to choose. Kangan runs 3 days a week fulltime, holmesglen runs 4 days a week full time for semester 1 and then drops to 3 days a week the remaining semesters. Careers Australia runs 3 days a week fulltime. Healthskills has an option for 3 days a week full time a week and have an option to do the course also on a Saturday which they offer from next year so I would only do 2 days during the week and Saturday or even 1 day a week and 1 day on Saturday for partime. I am liking the health skills australia because they offer it on a Saturday and if I did it part time I would have 4 days a week to work in my casual job or even if I did fulltime I would have 3 days a week to work in my casual job. The only thing is I really liked the nursing facilities at Holmesglen. Also a lot of people on this forum have given negative comments about Health skills Australia. Which course should I choose? Ultimately I would end up with the same diploma either way?

Congratulations!

I would go for Holmesglen. I was really impressed at their open day and they have a good reputation. 4 days a week  is a lot but if you are getting quality education then it worth it. I think is only for the first semester though.

I've heard not so good thing about Kangan so I'd give it a pass - disorganised and i think you have to organise your own placement.

I have now also been accepted into Vic uni and Australian catholic uni for diploma of nursing. I still want to do part time (2 days a week) so it is out of health skills Australia and Australian catholic uni, which do I choose?

Sandyko - ACU! Have you been to the campus? It's beautiful :) And I am there :P
I went to Health Skills for my VETASSESS test and it left a bad taste in my mouth.
