Does anybody know how tafe or uni assess the nursing students (who do the course online or distance):

(1) written assignment and clinical placement

(2) plus, the students have to fly interstate tafe or uni to sit in the examination?

I have difficulties in finding any educational organisation that deliveries EN course by online or distance education. They seem not to exist any longer ? Could anyone verify this information as l am almost to the end term of completing my AIN course.

I am doing Diploma of Nursing online through Gold Coast Tafe. Your written assignments are done on your computer and uploaded to Tafe website, You do your placement which ever aged care or hospital is nearest to you, I live in Rockhampton and I have am doing mine here. You do have to go to tafe for 2 weeks per semester, I have just come back from Gold Coast where I did my practical and exams for semester 1, I go again for 2 weeks in Jan and for 1 week in June.
