I need to stay working f/t with regular mortgage repayments and so forth. The gctafe has been discussed, but I am not sure if the local.unis will recognise the course and give the 1 year credit. I have completed the hsc but haven't done any work directly in this industry, but I do work at a private hospital in a back room office. also what are the chances of me getting in without any certs or work experience in this industry? Most Uni's will give you one year s credit off of the Degree in nursing. In my search only Qld offers the Dip in Nursing via distance ( didnt look at WA or NT though lol). Brisbane Tafe also offers it but it is more expensive. I believe you should get in no worries, just call and ask if you wish to clarify. There is an Oct enrollment coming up. Apply by end Sept.
