Hello,

I am a nursing student, and I am currently writing a research paper with the topic question of "How can acute care nurses balance empathy and compassion with their technical duties/job skills?" I am basing most of my research on published literature, but I thought it would be interesting to hear opinions from practicing nurses.

Do you mean by balancing empathy and compassion and technical duties? Do you mean balancing between patient/nurse relationship and task orientation?
