I am currently working at a medical centre as a practice nurse and have done so since I graduated from uni. I completed a 15 month graduate program at the medical centre and have continued to work there for the past 8 months. I am really wanting to get into the hospital system but am struggling to find somewhere that will take me on with no hospital experience. Could anyone please provide some advice as to what I can do?

What state are you in?  Some states provide transition programs (I know WA does for a few of the private hospitals).  I also know of nurses who have worked in various community roles (e.g., school nursing) who have then just put their application in to the hospitals and have been accepted.  It's very much about being in the right place at the right time.  At the moment, many of the hospitals are really well staffed and jobs are quite scarce. Just keep trying, you will find somewhere.
