I have been working for an aged care facility for nine yrs and my lsl is due next year, I have been working for a couple of years and only available to work sat pms but just recently I found out that there was no notification or consultation shifts were changed to what people dislike or can't do and now a lot of unhappy staff such as my self I have called the union they said that I need to get my contract and if it stats that sat pms only they are in breech if not though I dont have a leg to stand on please help asap

feel sorry for you.  When things like that happen (it usually happen when the facility is under new management team) it may indicate the management want to use this opportunity to get rip of the staff that they dont like.  Go to find the copy of your contract, if the shift is what you are employed for, then they cant change your shift.  but be careful, even if you won, they will be watching on you.  My suggestion is take your long service leave, then resign.
