cloudy...its always hard to have to work and study at the same time. But with your heart set on the job, you'll get there. Just set aside time for pracs where you have to do work placements for the necessary experience. Good luck and enjoy.

I did mine FT but I rarely attend lectures or tutes if I can help it. I also work for myself around 25 hrs/wk but my shop is just 20 meters outside my house, so there's a bit of concession there...no travel time...lol.

I do most of my studies around 3 am in the morning because my kids won;t get into my hair...or whatever's left of it...:)

Its a bit more difficult to do online because you maybe one who might benefit more from say a study group. Whilst i literally never attended classes, the study group which i formed with other mature aged students, helped me a lot in terms of watching out for one another where there's an online test due or minor assignments where we need to pick each other's brains for information. Sometimes, the assignment data can be vague and by pooling resources, we tend to resolve what is required and what's not. The group also helps motivate you towards a goal. I am one who like to finish my assignments early...allows me sometime to edit or mull on it. Others gets spurred on by me because they know they need to kick themselves into gear if they don;t want to be left behind. Likewise, I need the group to kick me in the butt for being slow on my reading of materials. Because I do most of my studies at home and occasionally meet up with the group..around once a week when there's a compulsory tute, I tend to fall back a bit as i wait for materials to be made available online before downloading...so I am usually about a day or two behind others.

I guess only you can answer your own question because of your study habits. If you feel you need motivation and social interaction to keep you on the track, then a FT course is probably better. You cvan still do it like me, more an online student than anything else...lol. Good luck and hope you'll find what you are looking for...cheers
