Hey Guys,

I have my interview with nsw hunter new England soon and i was wondering if anyone could give me any insight into what will happen in the interview and questions that i may be asked. I am so nervous already and i want to make sure that i am well prepared. I want to hear all the experiences everyone has had.

Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi TK88

Good luck with your interview. When did you find out you were getting an interview?

Hey TK88 - I have my interview next Tuesday, the interview questions are based on the selection criteria, so go over that and you should be fine.

Good Luck

Hey guys and gals,

Remember to dress formally for the interview. Just remember the questions will all be based in the AMNC competency and nothing personal. I remembered I was interviewed by 3 people and each of them asked 2 questions. They are really friendly to me and asked if I wanted anything to drink to calm myself down. (I am the 1st on the chopping board that day.)

1) What qualities do you think you can bring if you work in our hospital? (Sell yourself and I had 2 other friends who had the same question.)

2) What can you do to prevent infection. (I think I blotched this 1)

3) If you do not know how to do a procedure, what will you do? (Remember to seek help.)

4) A colleague is talking something mean about a patient in the ward, what will you do?

5) You have a patient who had a fall, another patient's relative pressed the call bell and ask for your assistance and a patient asking you for a urinary bottle. Who will you priorities and why?

6) You had a conflict with a colleague, what will you do?

Anyway, best of luck Joeyanna!!
