Hi everyone,  I'm new to here so hello!!  I decided to make a drastic career change after 20 years in the same job (which i did love by the way lol), to try the exciting and challenging pathway of becoming a nurse...  They say you cant teach an old dog new tricks right? haha.  I gained my Certificate 3 in Aged Care and Individual support last year and am currently working in a reputable Aged Care Home following this.  My next step is applying to the Diploma of Nursing, which I have and am SO excited about!!  But..... I am absolutely dreading the ACER test we must pass to gain entry.  Any tips guys?? Anything??  Links on line etc.  I really, appreciate any tips or assistance.  Thanks in advance and have a great day all! :)

Hello and welcome to this community! It's great to see that you're taking on a new challenge and pursuing your passion to become a nurse. Congratulations on completing your Certificate 3 in Aged Care and Individual Support and working in a reputable Aged Care Home.

Regarding the ACER test, it's understandable to feel nervous about it. It's important to prepare well for the test by familiarizing yourself with the format and content of the exam. You may want to consider practicing with online resources such as practice tests and study guides that can be found on various websites.

Additionally, it's a good idea to brush up on your critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills as these are essential for success in nursing. You may also want to consider joining a study group or seeking guidance from experienced nurses who can provide insights and tips, more info ...
