Hey guys,

I'm going to be taken the diploma of nursing at gold coast Tafe full time this year. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that maybe already doing the course could tell me what textbooks i'll be needing. I'm also looking to buy some second hand so if anyone is selling their old text books i'm interested.

thanks

Hi Sam,

How are you? I am also doing full time online! It will be great to meet people doing the same course at residential schools. i am in ACT though. I think the $1095 included text books? I hope?

Sam,

You should have been given a list of textbooks when you enrolled.  And yes, this is included in the $1095

Enrolling to do the GCIT course part time from August. Wishing EVERYONE good luck and have fun!
Maybe you folks from out of town could all hook up for your 2 week residential classes and share accommodations? That could help cut costs too.

Don't be worried!  I called GCIT on Friday last week, and said we should be doing our Orientation around the 13th August so we wont actually hear from them till another 2 weeks.....I'm itching to get started!  We will find out around then what groups we will be allocated to as well!

The letter I got was that orientation was on the 6th and we started on the 13th but I haven't got my textbooks or nursing kit yet. Has any one got theirs?

i know someone that is currently doing the course and the textbooks arrive in first or second week of study.i sourced my own and some of them are huge.

the challenge is going to be great and im sure most of the people doing the course will agree.
