Author Best online RN program?

Hi all,

I'm in WA, and I'm hoping to get some opinions on the online courses available to become a RN. I'm considering CQU, CDU and University of SA. Due to my current situation and location in Perth, online is my only available option. I have heard that U of SA requires practical placement to be done in SA? Which would mean interstate travelling, so that might be out for me. Does anyone know is the prac placement for CQU and CDU could be done at a hospital in WA?

I'd love all and any advice/opinions! Thanks so much.

I can't help with WA sorry, but I know for me as a VIC resident CQU were the best re placements in my own state. To my knowledge this is so for all states.  Are u an enrolled nurse?  Is so CSU can be useful to o.

Thanks luckyaussiemum I will look further into CQU to find out specifically re: the placements. Not an EN, so looking to just go straight to the RN course. Thanks again.

luckyaussiemum - I have another question if you don't mind! With your studies at CQU, are you able to do that all externally (apart from the practical placement?) or do you have to travel to do some of the components on-campus? Thanks so much!

You have to go to Noosa or Rockhampton to do clinical requirements. Works out about one week a year for every year of Fulltime study I think, may be two. Will check. Certain subjects have this attached to them as a requirement like A&P (anatomy and physiology) etc.
