malenurse (offline) Joined: Feb 2008 Location: Brisbane Posts: 9	Jun 03, 2008, 09:46 pm Hi kathrynmck, I think you'll find that most facilities, agencies...etc, require you to have completed two clinical placements. Thats not to say you can't try anyway. I applied for an AIN position with a hospital in Brisbane in my first year (following my first prac), and I got it. Since then, I have not looked back. I did my first year at GU, Logan campus, which is a more personal campus due to it's relatively small size, enabling me to get to know the lecturers better, one of whom gave me a reference.
