Hi everyone,

I'm just posting for some advice regarding the entrance test for the diploma of nursing at ACU Melbourne. Is there anyone who has done the test or have any idea of the entrance test? How did they find it?

thanks in advance

Hi Savanna, have you sat the entrance exam for ACU yet? I have mine tomorrow and I am also interested as to what the structure of the test may be. I have been polishing up on my  numeracy skills and practising literacy skills with STAT preparation guides. However its hard to know what to revise when you don't know much about the test.

I had my entrance test today. I figured this would be useful information to post here seeing as I couldn't find anything online when I was looking. Its nice to be able to prepare especially for something as important as your entrance test.

The structure of the day went like this:

Study skills - where we were given a sheet of information and had 10 minutes to study it.

LLN Test - Has a comprehension section, a basic maths section and then a writing component where you select a topic from a list and write an essay on it.

Study skills test - where you are given a set of question based on the information you were given prior to the LLN test. You have 10 minutes to complete it.

Interviews - everyone was interviewed, most were group interviews of between 2-5 people each.
