Hi Savanna,

Thanks for the heads up on arriving early or late for the test ! At this stage I've decided to sit the test. I've been studying really hard so I may as well give it a whirl and it's only a little over a week away now. I was thinking if they do have another pathways starting soon I may not actually get that completed in time before the July intake anyway, then I'd have to wait until next year and I'm not too keen on that. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope I can get in as a result of my test.

How did you go with your 1st exam? When do you get your results?

Well hope you did well! Will talk to you soon, Megan

Hi Megan. Good luck with your vetassess test by the way, im sure you will breeze through it. Most of it is multiple choice, a couple of scenario's and then the maths section. I reckon if you dont get in, (you will know in 4 weeks time after taking the test whether you have been successful or not) i think they will offer pathways in July... I will get my results tomorrow for the legal and ethical, so i will post on here when i get the chance.. Good luck....

Hi Savanna,

How's it all going? Have you got your results for your exam?

Have looked into the pathways program after sitting the vetassess on Tuesday. I don't think I'll get offered a spot in Div 2 as I ran out of time with the maths section and didn't get all my questions answered. They are only taking 25 of the top marks for each campus and my score won't be high enough.Anyway Chisholm said they will send me out info for the pathways but even if I do that I'll still need to sit another vetassess to get into the Div2!! So basically I could spend $800 on the pathways, which don't get me wrong I don't have the slightest problem with but then still not get in if I sit another vetassess and I'm not one of the top 50. I've thrown all that money down the tube, not to mention wasted 14 weeks. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do in regards to that. I have also applied for Div 2 with Healthtrain and I sit their exam in a couple of weeks so maybe I'll have better luck then. It's all so crazy and confusing but I'm sure I'll get there! Megan

Hi Megan, i got my results for the 2 exams i did. I got 69.5 for the legal and 79.5 for the nursing care, not the best but at least i got over the pass mark... Wow, what a bummer about the vetassess test!!! Yeh you do need to be quick on the maths test, i needed more time as well, and i had to guess most of them :( didnt make any difference though, cos i still didnt get in.

When i got in through pathways, we didnt need to sit another vetassess test, this must be a new thing. I reckon its all money making anyways. If you choose not to go with the pathways, there is a few companies that offer div 2 now, but most of them have the test before you get accepted so make sure you check it out 1st.

I know mayfield and ctaonline offer the course and Box hill tafe.. Good luck with whatever you decide.
