Hello all, I'm new to this wonderful forum. I'm hoping on studying EN via TAFE SA next year (distance/online) and I have a few basic questions. I have been on the TAFE SA website but sometimes it's nice to hear it from those currently studying the course.
1) when do you have to, or when can you start placements e.g in year one or year two, or after you have finished the course?
2) roughly, what are the core text books?
3) is there a link to past exam papers (TAFE), or a website with generic exam style questions for an EN?
4) where can placements be carried out e.g in aged care facilities, medical centres etc?
5) are there Childcare facilities at TAFE?
6) roughly, what are the EN fees for 2016/17 - I think they were due to increase in 2017.
Im a new mummy with very little or no family support hence why I'm trying to be as prepared as possible For next year.
any advice or information much appreciated.
