Hi Sarbear,

I would like to know how much the Health Train Course is, why you have gone that way instead of Tafe and what is it like dealing with the Health Train people.

Thanks,

Michael.

Hi Michael W

Your name is freaky i know someone with the same name as you ( being Michael W)

I am going to sit the test with Healthtrain because i didnt get into a tafe. The cost for div 2 is $1000 i think per year.
There is a test and info session on the 30th of july. It's prob a good idea if you ring the company up and get info from them. The health train people are very friendly. Healthtrain have alot of courses available. I have a feeling it will be a nicer enviroment to work in. You will be part of a community rather than just a number like at tafe.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to let you know I have just completed my second week doing div 2 at Healthtrain. I am honestly loving it so far! Everyone is really friendly students and staff! I only have positive things to say. I too applied at Tafe and didn't get in but to be honest I'm glad as it is such a lovely environment at healthtrain.I wish you all the best with your exams and hope you get in!!

Hi Guys.

I am sitting a Vetassess test in September. I am doing ok with the sample test they have given and the one on the Charles Stuart uni site but i was curious as to what sort of Medication questions there were and how many of those there were on the test if anyone can remember? Just so i know what formulas to study. Also on the actual real test, are there examples explaining how to do it before jumping to the questions (like the sample test) or does it give you no help at all.

Any info would be great!

Thanks.

Hi ransrenee. You can get examples of the vetasses test on line. That would be a great place to start. Also I think that they are a bit more focused on literacy skills as they see communication as very important... Oh and the Div 2 nursing course is relentless. you study will not stop after doing an entrance test.... All the best.

phoebe12 you will be fine. Just be calm and listen to what the assessor has to say and make sure you don't take too long on one question as 30 minutes goes quick. Study before hand to get the best out of the short time you have in the exam. and good luck

Hi mehar12,
The question I answered 2 years ago was based on why I wanted to be a nurse. I wrote openly and honestly. Make sure you use capital letters and appropriate punctuation and remember to BREATHE!!!!!!! That is most important. You will be fine if you can do the maths, the English component was easy.
Good luck!
