Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has any first-hand experience with studying externally through Charles Darwin Uni?

Is it a good course? I am hoping to begin this in July this year, for the mid year intake, and was just wanting any opinions.

Thanks!

Hellooooo :-)

I am currently studying with CDU and am 4 weeks into it (almost 5). I dont have a great deal of exp in external study cos I havent been doing it for long but I can say that while at first I was totoally shitting myself over the whole external experience...I have found some solid support and just plodded my way through and am finding myself getting through it all just fine. Just handed in my first assignment and have passed my first exam! (in in second year cos im a div 2 already). Im also a Mum of 2 young girls and work 4 days a week on a busy surgical ward.(cutting back though as of next week).

It is overwhelming at first..but the lecturers are a great resource as are other students. I am sure you will be fine and you will have a good exp. It takes some adjusting..but thats like anything.

Good luck!

Thanks Keeshy,

This is good information. I am happy to hear what you say. I have a little girl also, and will also be working about 3 days a week, so your advice is inspiring to me.

Thanks for sharing that with me.
