My sister is doing AIN at tafe and she needs a few basic definitions for an assignment which neither of us can find (I know she probably hasnt bothered going to the library). Thanks!

If anyone can help out with these I would really appreciate it!

Cheif nursing executive (CNE)

DDON (...... Director of nursing) - not sure what the first D stands for

Google is probably a good start..

CNE - Clinical Nurse Educator
DDON - Deputy Director of Nursing (maybe)

I didn't know there was a tafe AIN course. Cert 3 in Aged Care, but not AIN. Good luck to your sister.

Hi, ive tried google but didnt have much luck. The CNE abbrv is for Cheif nursing executive....that was the actual question. Ive never heard of that qualification before though? She said it was an AIN course, ill check with her.

Yeah, DDON - is deupty director of nursing. CNE - never heard either.
