Hi

Will I still be allowed to work in aged care after my placement (when I pass the unit) if I haven't had placement in aged care?

Hi there

Your course administrators should be able to advise you of this?  I  am a 1st year student EN, and we can work as a PCA after our Aged care placement.  You may be able to work as an AIN prior to your aged care placement, but again, your course admin should tell you this.  They told us our first day the steps, chase them up!

Hi Mh.1,

if I was you I'd approach aged care facilities and ask if they have positions available. They might be more than happy to take you with just the one placement.
