Hello,

Was wondering if whether my volunteering at a hospital would help me snag that graduate position at a hospital in the future.

It is just general volunteering, like being a hospital "librarian" and helping people find their way around the hospital. Would this be beneficial or a waste of time (in the sense that it wouldnt help; not saying it is not a good thing to do).

Thanks Kindly

Why not? Even customer service jobs helps. Remember to relate your experiences to help 'sell yourself'. What is most important to the interviewer is that you display the ability they desired.

For example: I worked as a sale representative and I have experience in handling personal relationship issues with the clients.

Disclaimer: It can help you, but it does not mean you will 100% get it.
