Hi all,

I am researching universities in Brisbane as i wish to go onto do my bachelor. I have already completed my EEN and working full-time. I am just putting it out there to see which uni people recommend. I am tossing up between QUT and Griffith (Nathan) as they are the closest to me. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!!

Dani

i have done heaps of research on studying for my BN while working full time hours with 4 kids and have discovered that CQU and USQ both run BN externally. all applications go through QTAC and you have to attend residential schools two to three days per course. with CQU they run this at noosaville and USQ does this at Toowoomba.

You also have to do clinical placement which is organised by the uni or you could apply to do this within your employment depending on your employer is they are willing to assist you in your advancment. so check these out as they are accepting applications now for semester two. good luck with it. hope this info helps

I have just been on the phone to USQ and they have told me that they do not run BN externally, only internally.

Hi,
I'm a EEN on the gold coast doing my Bachelor of nursing externally though Charles sturt uni at bathurst. I do have to go down every 6mths for a week or so but it saves me going to lectures and tuts every day.

Cheers,
Kerri
