Hi everyone!

I've just completed first year in NSW, but am about to try transfer in Brisbane. Can anyone tell me which uni is best, and which seems to have the best employment rates of grads? Some people are suggesting I go UQ so I can accelerate the degree, others are saying QUT is better. My GPA is well over 5 so I should be fine to go anywhere.

Thanks!

hi catlady,

I'm at QUT and I think it's pretty good. I've heard good things from staff on wards about QUT grads in general as well - we're looked on pretty favourably.

hope that helps  :)

I was actually debating the same thing as you: QUT or UQ for nursing? In the end, I chose QUT because I have heard QUT grads are good and treated well. It's hard to say which uni is the "best" because both universities are pretty good and competitive. UQ has a great beautiful campus so some people told they chose UQ for the lifestyle. Most degrees are on the one campus whereas QUT is smaller and is scattered over three campuses. For nursing it's Kelvin Grove campus and its kind of small.

It's really up to you =)
