Hi, I am a nursing student (een) and am about to have a stent placed for blocked artery. The question is, would an employer consider me as a risk going for jobs in nursing? I am a mature student, and although my colleagues may not have to know about my condition or previous surgeries, there would be a medical before being placed in a job. Does anyone know if this would exclude me from any work as a nurse? In theory the work should be manageable as people with heart conditions go on to do manual/labour work all the time.
Just worried about my future here in nursing
