Hi everyone I am looking for to do a certificate 3 in aged care but in a short period. I've been searching by internet but only I can find are courses about six months or more I rather do something shorter. I've worked before in aged care without certificate but now I need it. I want study nursing next year and I don't have much time also to get prior experience working with a step forward before my career starts. thank you guys I will really appreciate some advice. :-)

Hi Skull,

maybe find a fast track provider in your area.most of the new staff coming into where i work have been put through fast track,i think its approx 17 weeks.

Thanks for you response :-) Is there a place where you recommend me to do this fast track I mean, your place have a web site to have a look this?. I think this sounds good and is very convenient for me at this stage.

hi skull, i have just completed my cert III in aged care. i did it in about 4 months. It depends where you live, i did it in brisbane, birkdale. it was 1 day a week @ college then you had to complete at least 100 hrs in the given clinical placement. It was with AMC training and i know that the tutor did the course in toowoomba too so if you need the number for her give me a shout, i woud highly recommend the course, it was brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!
