Hello Everyone,

Sending you mighty Morhpin power hugs.........

Is the cert 3 the only way to gain a position in Aged Care?

I cant wait to July to study it :-)

Hi Zak... i have been told that the cert 3 in home and community care (hacc) is the equivalent of cert 3 in aged care, it just focases more on the disability/community side but still has a lot of the aged care units. My friend did the hacc course and is now working in an aged care facility,,
Hope that helps a bit, i don't believe there are many other ways to start in aged care nowadays.
