Just an enqiry. I am struggling to understand, how people finish this course in the required time. i am doing it online, through distance. I have struggled, to do and finish 3 modules/units in 7 months. I am not going to finish this course in one year. I have no hope. I work full time, Monday to Friday. i am to tired to think about doing the course. Which leaves me the weekends. i do 6 to 8 hours a day then. As I don't understand half of what I am doing. It takes a long time to do, role plays, case studies. etc etc. On top of that I am organizing my wedding, with my fiance, to be held in September, I lose a months study there. People are saying they do this course in 3 or 4 months. HOW? Having to type all thee role plays down and stuff, it's kind of off putting.

For instance, I am meant to do something here, but there are no scenarios listed or I am missing something.

"All Students: Role Play  Scenario: The candidate is a care worker at a home where older people reside on a full time/permanent basis.  Many of the people live with dementia.  Below are several scenarios that the candidate is required to ‘act out’ in role play.  A classmate or colleague is to play the role of the person with dementia.  For the purposes of this assessment the person being supported is named John.

In order to achieve consistency of performance, evidence should be collected over a set period of time which is sufficient to include dealings with an appropriate range and variety of situations.

You will be required to check your progress with the trainer/assessor at the completion of each part of the assessment before commencing the next.

The trainer/assessor will inform you of any significant errors or misjudgments throughout the procedure and give valuable feedback to you for the rectification of the problem.

If the result of the assessment is that you are Not Yet Satisfactory, you may be required to retake the assessment."
