I am a RN in the USA and I will be moving back to Perth at the end of this year. I am very interested in becoming a nurse practicioner. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good school to attend in Perth.

Thanks :)

HI Kimmejs,
The best way is to contact the nurse and midwives registration board in WA and ask them who conducts the accredited courses in WA. The other contact is www.nursepractitioners.org.au where you will find lots of information including the state executives contact details. They I am sure will be only too happy to help you out. Hope this helps

A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse who has additional education and training in a specialty area such as family practice or pediatrics. Pediatric and family practice NPs can provide regular health care for kids.Nurse practitioners have a master's degree in nursing and board certification in their specialty. For example, a pediatric NursePractitioner has advanced education, skills, and training in caring for infants, children, and teens.

Thanks
