Hello,

I have a few questions but first I will explain a bit about my situation. I'm 30 years old and I am from the Netherlands. Currently I'm in Australia on the working holiday visa and I have been here for 1.5 years already. I fell in love with australia and would like to work and live here. I have been working in aged care (home care as well as in a nursing home) for more than 10 years in the Netherlands, although I do not have a degree or certificate for aged care. The Australian immigration provided a list with jobs that qualify for a sponsorship. The one I am interested in is: "registered nurse (aged care)". Here is my question: will I have to do a 3 year study to become a nurse and specialize myself somehow in aged care? Or is a certificate in aged care sufficient? From my research I learned that you can get this certificate in  1 - 1.5 years. I hope my questions are clear and that someone can guide me in the right direction!
