Hey - has anyone done their EN course via distance/online? I am looking to start but seems as Gold Coast Tafe is the only option. Has anyone/is anyone studying online with another provider?

Hi

I have just started with the Diploma of Nursing thru Gold Coast TAFE. there are several FB groups for the different intakes from last year, Jan and April this year, and now Jul 2015 the nesest group.

I am in VIC and is the only option (though I think Brisbane TAFE do it too) for distance nursing at Diploma level for interstaters like me. I think there are some other Northern Qld providers but you have to do you placement in Qld near them.

I am studying enrolled nursing through a regional south australia campus I am finding it extremely hard I really struggle with some concepts find there is not as much support....feeling I am too stupid to be a nurse

I am also learning distant ed. The support is limited............... doing it through the goldcoast tafe.

I would ask for more support or contact your professors with your concerns.  You're still paying for distance ed, make sure you get as much out of it as possible.  Good luck!

I am currently dont distance through the Goldcoast Tafe, i am struggling there is little support the information is all over the place................ Just sat my 3rd quiz and have to resubmit 3 but i wont be able to submit again while i am fresh in knowledge it will take over a month, feeling MEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Suzalu099,

i was wondering how your course is going and if support has improved. I'm looking at starting the course 11th April via distance Ed  with Tafe GC as this is the only option With them.
