I am a deferred graduate. I completed my diploma of nursing in 2017 and have just applied with AHPRA for registration as an EN early September. It's been over a month and there is still no sign of my application process moving from the first stage. I am just curious if there are any deferred graduates here and how long it took them to wait for their application. Someone told me it took them 1 year which is quite alarming, so I called AHPRA and they said it's not going to take 1 year. Maximum 90 days but I don't know I've googled around and found people waiting 6 months etc. I was told all applications are process first come first serve unless it's on the graduate stream..but I really don't know. Have given up all hope. Anyone here can give me advice on what to do next? Thanks.
