Just wanted to ask if any nurses on here have pursued cosmetic nursing and about recommended courses/their experiences with finding employment? Or those who have gone from nursing to beauty therapy? I originally wanted to become a beauty therapist when I finished high school then went with nursing/midwifery. Ten years later I absolutely cannot stand it and can’t continue doing this.
I considered going back to my first choice of beauty therapy but then am having trouble deciding - since I am already a nurse would cosmetic nursing just be a better option? I am just reluctant about spending the money to do a course and then have trouble finding employment and a part of me just doesn’t even want anything to do with nursing anymore and I am interested in the other side such as lashes, brows and nails etc,
Sorry for the long post! Any insight from someone who has followed a similar path would be appreciated.
