Hi all

I am a casual EN working in a public hospital in Victoria.

The other week (it was a Sunday) I was rostered on to do an AM shift then asked to stay on to do a PM shift as well. I was not paid any overtime for doing the extra hours from 1530 - 2130.

The lovely payroll people who just love me are claiming that I am not entitled to get paid overtime for the extra hours work, the ANF have advised that I should be paid double time from 1530 - 2130.

I was wondering if there were any other casual employees who work / have worked double shifts (specifically on weekends) and whether they have been paid overtime for the extra hours past their rostered shift.

Cheers,

Rob
