Hi,
I am Jenny and new to the forum and also the new requirements for Registration.....I guess, who isn't?

I trained 'the old fashioned way', completeing my training in 1980, then Midwifery in 1981-82. Lots of family and health stuff happening in between then and now...... NOW when I feel up to getting back into Nursing, I am stumped by the new Registration process. I thik I have sent off all the requirements but get told I haven't provided enough.....

Does anyone else have this problem?? I am finding it all quite stressful....

HI Jenny

I am only up to trying to fill in the form(have been told 3 different ones to use so far) and trying to put a CV togther that meets all their requirements..and I am already stressed out!!!!!! I Haveno idea what(if anything) I need to put in the Bridging programs section and Precedural skills section. I think I am competent :) but I don't think that would be appropriate to put on AHPRA's form. Its 3 years almost since I left nursing ( I am a 20 year "veteran" EN) so how do I prove competence?

What requirements did they say you hadn't provided ??

PS Did you work at Manning Base???...I did my TEN training there :)
