I am currently studying and am needing a volunteer who I can interview that works within the health care industry.
I am on module "Work effectively with culturally diverse clients and co-workers"
The questions are as followed and I have also attached task 5 as I require some information with protocol's for using an interpreter with your organisation.

Task 4
Interview a worker in the health car industry such as a physician, nurse or pharmacist about cultural issues. You may wish to tell the interviewee that culture for the purposes of this interview can be wider than just ethnicity.
1. What is the cultural mix of the clients who use your service?
2. How are the needs of the culturally diverse clients accommodated?
3. a) Provide an example of a cross-cultural difficulty, misunderstanding or conflict in the workplace.
b) Describe strategies that could be used to resolve the situation.
c) If you have given an example of a real life situation, have work practices been modified as a result of this misunderstanding? How?
4. Identify some strategies that may be used to communicate with a persons of a culturally and linguistically diverse background.
Task 5
Answer the following in relation to the health service you researched in Task 4.
1. Describe how interpreters could be used when dealing with users of this service.
2. Explain the organisation's protocol for using and interpreter.
