Hi everyone,

I have completed 2/3 of my graahd year and am now off work with an injured back (ALWAYS PROTECT YOUR BACK). I have been told by my grad coordinator that the hospital is under no obligation to let me complete my required hours once the grad year contract has expired. This means that there is a possibilty I will have an incomplete grad year. I have a few questions:

1. How many hours do we need to do to successfully finish our grad year?

2. What are my chances of being employed elsewhere with 2/3 of a year?

3. Does anyone have any ideas for more back friendly nursing roles I could strive for. I am considering doing post grad so I could maybe work in a health clinic or in health promotion?

I know I have asked heaps of questions. If any one has any advice on any areas I would be really grateful!!

Thanks :) Jess
