Good morning all,

I would really appreciate hearing/reading your thoughts on Careers Australia! I am going to Careers Australia - The Valley branch in late September to study a Cert III Aged Care before I go onto TAFE to study Diploma of Nursing.

The questions I have are:

* How professional is it there?
* How large is it? Roughly how many students are there?
* Roughly what are the hours of study (if anyone is already or has already taking Cert III Aged Care?

Can't wait to arrive. I'm a 35 year old English guy who's taking a massive career change from senior management in an international company to nursing.... and I cant wait!

Thanks

Moon

I attend careers australia in adelaide doing my diploma of nursing, I have found them pretty professional though we have had a few hiccups but I think you could expect that from any place you go to. The one Im at isnt very large I think about 200 or so students and roughly about 20 to a class though A & P had heaps more as it had students repeating the stage to due to failing the final exam. The way it is run means that we are not always there at the same time I would say max of 100 ppl on any given day and sometimes less. I find the staff are good and very approchable and everyone there will do all they can to help you pass including extra tut classes and even one on one tut.
Goodluck with it all :)
