doubt you will find last years marieb anatomy and physiology second-hand, BUT, you may be able to get away with the 8th edition. i have both (bought 9th edition without remembering i had 8th) and while i havent had a close look they seem to be a much of a muchness. its also m uch cheaper to buy from amazon (even with postage and handling) than from anywhere else i've seen, including with co-op bookshop discount, JCUshop discount. (paid 50 pounds=90ish $AU with amazon with P&H, was quoted by co-op at about AU$130ish, not including P&H). checked out prices on my other texts and they were all at least 20% cheaper thru amazon than thru any uni text store. probably best to search by IBSN though (10 or 13 number that is like an international designation for that specific book right down to edition author and title, should be in inner cover or you could look it up on the co-op site). could try the textbook exchange (www.textbookexchange.com.au, i think), an aussie site that is basically a pawnshop for used textbooks.

most nursing students i know are more likely to donate both their kidneys than sell their potter and perry's or their mosby's. even one's who have finished refer back to them. but that just may be where i live and the people i know.

hopefully even some of this reply will be useful.

take care and good luck with your studies
