I'm a potential (v mature!) nursing student with lots of questions! At the moment I live in the UK and have just applied for Mental Health Nursing here. However my dh has been offered a position in Sydney and we def want to go for it :) We lived in Sydney before with our 2 kids and loved it plus we're all citizens.
Anyway I still want to do nursing but haven't much clue how it all works there.
Mental health nursing as an undergraduate degree diesn't seem common, I've only seen it offered at ACU? Is it more usual to do it as a postgrad? Has anyone done the course, does it limit opportunities for Graduate programs?
Also what's involved in applying through UAC? In the UK there are several stages to applying, personal statement and grades followed by a group and then solo interview. Is the process similar there?
