HI all, my name is Heath im a mature are student enrolled in 1st year BA nursing at UQ Ipswich. My partner recently dropped the bomb about potential job offer in Sydney and am seeking study options in Sydney ( suggestions etc)...If happens partner will prob be working inner west...Also curious as to any good recommendations of distance learning options that are portable with good feedback...

Any suggestions greatly appreciated....

I am currently studying with CSU. They offer DE for people who have successfully completed the first year and gain credits for their first year units, which you may do. Each semester I have to go to res school on campus. The res schools range from 2-5 days depending on the units you are doing.

I have found them quite good. As with all unis, there are good and bad things. They put out calendars in Sept/Oct every year with the following years res school dates and blocks of prac for each prac unit.

Yes, I am fully external. My administrative campus is orange, but when I am enrolling in units, they can either be Bathurst or Orange. When I attend residential school, they are either Bathurst or Wagga Wagga. My first 2 were in Bathurst, then this year they tried to make them all in Wagga. I think there was a bit of a backlash as 2013 res schools are now either Bathurst or Wagga (most have the option).
