Is PCA patient care assistant or Patient controlled analgesia?
If it is patient care assistant, they are not suppose/allowed to give S4/S8 drugs even if it is from a blister pack. (At least in Australia)

If it is patient controlled analgesia, the RN/Anaesthetist will need to be the 1 loading the pump/syringe into the machine.
