I'm having trouble every since the previous receptionist left our low care facility. I'm new 6 month old PCA working casual. Supervisors keep putting me double shifts in one day and in shifts the next day without asking or informing me of the change. I try to check the roster as much as i can but.. it feels like they just pop me on and dont even ask for my availability. Is this okay?

Could I get advice on how to tackle this issue? I feel annoyed because I cant touch or write on the roster, only the supervisor can. And I feel like trash and have no say. I feel like the manager and supervisors below him think stupid and they say it's my fault and that's that.

I have not worked in the field, nor have I finished my Cert. III, but I can definitely see some communication and carelessness here. After your shift or in your break, approach your supervisor and tell him/her how you feel and how it's affecting you.
